SBML-PET is a Systems Biology Markup Language (SBML) based Parameter Estimation Tool. This tool has been designed to do parameter estimation work for biological models including signaling pathways, gene regulation networks and metabolic pathways.
SBML-PET supports import and export of models in the System Biology Mark-up Language (SBML) format. Currently, it can run on Linux and Cygwin on Windows. Current release version 1.2 of SBML-PET is free for Academic Use.
SBML-PET-Cygwin-v2.3.5 is released on May 8, 2009. Some bugs are fixed. Rules support (except algebraic rules) is improved. More compicated events scenarioes are improved as well. 'Differential Evolution' algorithm is added now. In the next release, we will update SBML-PET for supporting new levels of SBML.
Features of SBML-PET
Support SBML import and export
Support events
Support data produced under different experimental conditions
Support common mathematical expressions (with C function) of experimental data
Support common mathematical expressions of constraints
Support noise and standard deviation (measurement error) of data
